Valentines Free Printables

Good Morning Everyone! Valentines is on my mind! I used to love waking up every morning having a Valentines gift from my parents waiting for me at the breakfast table. Now I get to create those memories for my family. Landry and I are going to bake cookies for our friends this year. Strawberry Gooey Butter Cookies | Cookies and Cups
STRAWBERRY GOOEY BUTTER COOKIES
makes about 24 cookies
Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1 box (18.25 oz) Strawberry Cake Mix
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
How to Make
  1. In your mixer cream together the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add egg and beat until combined.
  2. Turn mixer to low and slowly add in your cake mix. The dough will be thick.
  3. Refrigerate dough for about a hour or so, just enough so it's not quite as sticky. Also, the colder the dough is the puffier your cookies will be.
  4. When dough is chilled preheat oven to 350°.
  5. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Place. powdered sugar in a small bowl
  7. Roll dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter, then roll in powdered sugar.
  8. Place about 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet and bake for approx 10 minutes until centers are just set.
  9. Cool on wire rack
Notes
