Tangible Tablescapes

Sometimes you see pictures and think, "Wow that is gorgeous, I'm never going to have that!" Well I've stumbled across a collection of tablescapes that are at your fingertips. With a little creativity you can make some fun interesting dinner elements.
I love the childishness of the chalkboard placemats with the crystal stemware. Go to your local dollar store, scoop up some placemats and paint with chalkboard paint. Voila, instant seating tags, plus entertainment for your guests! Make sure to provide chalk to doodle with!
I'm loving the purple and turquoise. A few vibrant blooms quickly transforms this table from drab to dramatic! Try laying the napkin under the charger as shown to
add that extra spark to your table!
Try scrapbook paper as your placemat. I love the extra touch of making a pop up placecard in the top corner. I have used scrapbook paper on many occasions and love it is so inexpensive and comes in a variety of wonderful patterns and color!
