I love a good do it yourself project, especially when you make something beautiful out of the ordinary. My house has a lot of dark wooden furniture and shelves, so I'm constantly looking for white objects to fill my home with to stand out from the darkness. With a thrift store glass jar and some spray paint look what happens! It's glorious!
Reason 10034 I love garage sales!

Just today I made some faux milk glass dessert stands with candle sticks and some thrifted plates and a can of krylon glossy white spray paint, but I held the spray paint can too close (because it was so windy outside!) and now I have really bad spray paint runs/drips. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?
I've never tried it myself, but I read you should scrape away the drips with a razor or sandpaper and re-spray. You should spray 10-12 inches from the glass and do several coats for an even look. I feel ya on the wind problem, West Texas is not known for its still days! Good luck!
