Cupcake Fundraiser

Today I wanted to share with you how to have a cupcake fundraiser. This fundraiser was so easy, and pretty profitable. For our Spring Fling shopping fundraiser for Junior League we incorporated this cupcake raffle to raise some extra money at Girl's Night Out. We purchased 100 cupcakes from Sugar Mama's (if you live in Midland, Texas you have to stop by, its the best cupcake place.... ever), and then sold the cupcakes for $10.00 per cupcake. Then the lady was given a raffle ticket for each cupcake she purchased, and we had a drawing once all the cupcakes were sold for a chocolate pearl necklace. We got the necklace donated, so we made a nice little profit to give back to the League, and everyone at least got a tasty cupcake!

The flavors were red velvet and Italian cream cake. I wrapped boxes with wrapping paper to elevate the cupcakes, I also made those giant cakes out of a round hat box covered in glitter paper atop an upside down flower pot.
So easy and delicous! Nobody walks away a loser!

Going to go there this afternoon after E's doctor appt. She's getting shots so this will be a great treat for her. Thank you for telling us about the cupcakes.

They are the best cupcakes I have ever had. Thank you for sending me there. Got a pie for me and jerrod for our anniversary. I think I have found my new favorite place.
